I'm rather new to tekkit, and was wondering what to use to power the powered furnace and how to do it the most efficent way. If anyone could help I'd love you forever. :P

Generally it's always good to use some more Energy Storage, to be more flexible and reduce Energy-Wasting ;)
You mislead people with blutricity. Blutricity is measured in amps, like real electricity, and is nowhere near EU and MJ.
Good luck, Fellow Tekkiter!
EU doesn't work. You need MJ for this setup.
Real help:
Use Engines for this furnace, all the way from redstone ones to combustion, including Steam and Magmatic engines. I recommend having a Redstone Energy Cell and an engine pumping energy to it.
builcraft, thermal expension, IC2? what mod are you talking about??
we are talking about the indiviual mods that make up tekkit lite.
what engines are you using? i find redstone engines are very limited in their use. also you can use IC2 solar panels to generate your power then use an energy bridge with an EU consumer (any level) and a BC producer. its more of a set it and forget it system. you just have to plan for the time that it will be night.
If you are new in the game, and you haven't progressed very far, I would recommend the Stirling Engine, as it runs on coal, a common resource. When you place the engine, make sure it is pointing at the Powered Furnace to work.
If he is new in the game, I would recommend an Electric Furnace to get started with.
IT DOESENT WORK BECAUSE ITS NOT THE RIGHT MOD FOR IT TO WORK D: sorry caps
Thermal Expansion uses the same energy, as BuildCraft
I mean, Stirling Engines produce MJ and Powered Furnace uses MJ
