Tiny Update

The main page needs a tiny update. Tekkit lite is now running on a 1.4.7 base, not a 1.4.6. Again nothing serious, just wanted to make a note of it. Admiral Obvious (talk) 22:24, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks. Watson 777 (talk) 22:04, January 18, 2013 (UTC)
Also needs updating to reflect the update to Tekkit Lite 0.5.3, as of today. Although if we are only following stable releases, it won't be necessary. Ateam55 (talk) 10:40, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

Mod images

Just to clarify, how are the Mod images being sorted? I presume someone has a template, or is there another procedure that we should be aware of? (Ateam55 (talk) 13:36, January 18, 2013 (UTC))

If you are referring to the images used to link to the mod pages, yes I'm working on them at the moment. I had aimed to have them completed by now. Unfortunately, I have been really busy over the last 3-4 days so have not had time.
Don't worry, they haven't been forgotten :) Watson 777 (talk) 22:04, January 18, 2013 (UTC)
Ah, brilliant. Thanks for clearing that up! Ateam55 (talk) 22:26, January 18, 2013 (UTC)
Awesome work on the images, by the way. Don't know how much you've been getting kudos on those, but they look fantastic and add a lot toward the organizational look of the wiki. Thanks for doing those. :D Solego (talk) 19:58, March 2, 2013 (UTC)

Removing Condensers

I have a quick question why did you take out the condensers? 15:18, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

In Tekkit Lite, Equivanlent Exchange 2 (EE2) was replaced with Equivalent Exchange 3 (EE3). In the words of current developer Pahimar: "Condensers have been removed. A suitable replacement with new mechanics will be added in the future." Ateam55 (talk) 15:54, January 20, 2013 (UTC)
Basically the whole of the Equivalent Exchange mod is being re-done. A lot of what we have taken for granted (like condensers) are being replaced slowly over time. Tigerboyaa (talk) 17:21, January 28, 2013 (UTC)
As far as the latest information goes, it seems that some condenser-like block with the same functions will be used in EE3 but it's not done yet. Tigerboyaa (talk) 17:50, February 21, 2013 (UTC)

Scrap page

The crafting recipes on the page Scrap are all screwed up and they really need to be fixed...Tigerboyaa (talk) 19:59, January 29, 2013 (UTC)

We currently do not have the textures for scrap, or scrapboxes. Also, the machine template is correct for the recycler, once we get the propper background for it. If you or anyone else can find the texture and upload it it'd be appreciated. Admiral Obvious (talk) 19:13, January 30, 2013 (UTC)

Small typo

Small typo in the link to the Tekkit wiki - links to "" Razza0 (talk) 07:46, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

Should be fixed now, thanks. Watson 777 (talk) 16:26, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

Version template and tracking changes across versions

According to my host, 0.6.1 isn't really ready for prime time yet (Which is why I'm still running 0.5.7). As such, it can be really confusing reading articles updated for 0.6.1 (Mystcraft being a great example).

Is anyone else in the same boat? Or am I the only one running an outdated server?

If this is as common as my host is arguing, it might be a good idea to create some sort of template depicting version-specific content. I guess a better question would be, is there any point in keeping track of how an item has changed over time (Such as minecraftwiki does)?

Aendrew (talk) 10:26, April 8, 2013 (UTC)

0.6.1 is the recommended build and, due to that, the wiki is being updated to reflect the changes in 0.6.1. If a page contains content from a dev version it will be marked as such (currently there are no dev versions).
If you chose to use an older version, it's down to you. However it is not recommended as, i'm sure you realize, new releases of Tekkit Lite (as with any 'game') are to provide bug fixes and new features.
Severs can, understandably, take more time to update but there is no real reason not to make the update to the recommended build.
So, to answer your question, there is not a good enough argument to be made for keeping information on old versions (it is kept in the page's edit history, however). Watson 777 (talk) 11:15, April 8, 2013 (UTC)
That's good to know, I thought everyone was getting the "Tekkit-specific blocks don't show up" issue — thanks! I totally agree with your stance on versions if it can generally be assumed people are using the latest version for both single- and multiplayer.

I can't find a quick link to Applied Energestics anywhere on the front page. Is that intended? Cjmarsh (talk) 12:41, October 2, 2013 (UTC)

Could you add Applied Energistics onto the main pageDogsteeves (talk) 15:31, May 20, 2016 (UTC)
