Low Voltage Solar Array is an Industrial Craft Machine used to generate EU from the sun. It is the equivalent of 8 Solar Panels.
Low Voltage Solar Arrays are the cheapest out of the three Solar Arrays, with the others being the Medium Voltage Solar Array and the High Voltage Solar Array. They are usually the choice of most players as they provide an energy of 8 Solar Panels (1 EU/t per Solar Panel), but only takes up one block area, without needing a LV-Transformer to wire up to a BatBox.
Low Voltage Solar Arrays can be used to charge many mid to low tier IC2 electrical tools, such as the Electric Wrench.

Method
To make sure you make the right components, the following steps will make your Low Voltage Solar Array:
- Craft 8 Stone Furnaces
- Craft 8 Iron Furnaces (use the recipe that takes 1 Stone Furnace and 5 Iron Ingots)
- Craft 108 Copper Cables (18 sets)
- Craft 8 Batteries
- Craft 8 Generators (use the recipe that takes an Iron Furnace and 3 Refined Iron)
- Craft 16 Electronic Curcuits
- Craft 8 Solar panels
- Craft LV-Transfomer
- Craft Low Voltage Solar Array
Note: There is a less efficient way to make Generators that uses Machine Blocks and Stone Furnaces instead of Iron Furnaces and 3 Refined Iron, however this wastes EU in smelting extra Iron Ingots into Refined Iron, and is therefore not worth using. Be sure to use the right recipe for crafting Iron Furnaces too, otherwise you will end up using an extra 3 Iron Ingots per furnace.
