When using UU-Matter and Igneous Extruders:
5632 Cobblestone (macerate into sand)
UU-Matter: 9400 total, 6495 on iron
If using a Minium Stone, you can get 4 gold from a diamond and make 1 gold into 8 iron. This saves substantial amounts, (only 4 on the diamond but up to 7/8th of the iron cost, reducing it to 815 UU-Matter for all the iron saving a grand total of 5684 UU-Matter, resulting in a total cost of 3716 UU-matter per array (plus the cobblestone). Add a few UU-Matter for making Minium Stones, if you want to reduce the amount of Minium Stones you can use gold blocks to iron blocks - the conversion rate is the same but this conversion puts less strain on the Minium Stone.
