Construction Foam is a building material added by Industrial Craft 2. When placed, it is a semi-transparent, non-solid block, but later hardens into a special kind of stone block. The amount of time this takes is random, but is influenced by the light level of the environment it is placed in. Construction Foam can be colored after it has hardened using a Painter.
Care must be taken around unsolidified Construction Foam, as mobs and players can fall through it and suffocate. In addition, Construction Foam cannot be retrieved with any tool in either its unsolidified or solidified form.
Construction Foam can be used in conjunction with a CF Sprayer and Scaffold to be placed more efficiently. In order to use the CF Sprayer, Construction Foam must be compressed into CF Pellets and then loaded into the CF Sprayer using a Canning Machine.
